OUR ADVOCATES

Equilibrium believes in a strong sense of community. We sponsor multiple riders who rely on our products to keep their horses at their very best. Enriched with Equilibrium, these horses are continuously of optimal health and at peak performance.

SEATTLE LODGE

FRED AND LINDSAY CORNEGE & CHRISTINE DAWKINS

Seattle Lodge is a multi-faceted equestrian facility in the heart of ‘Horse Country’ in the beautiful town of Cambridge, New Zealand.

Seattle Lodge was established in 1985 standing thoroughbred stallions. Both Fred and Lindsay had been involved with horses for many years and competed to a high level in show jumping and to a lesser level in Eventing. In 1988 they branched out into sport horse breeding with firstly Jaguar, a Belgian warmblood stallion and then Voltaire II a Dutch warmblood stallion. They bred a number of top performing horses by both these stallions. Christine rode when she was younger and then started taking it more seriously when competing in Pony Grand Prix’s.

After moving to Cambridge in 2004 Fred and Lindsay changed direction and got out of breeding, with Voltaire 11 being sold to the South Island. Both stallions have had a huge impact on the industry through their progeny and as broodmare sires. They still breed some Thoroughbreds and sport horses but are more focused on thoroughbred racing. They’ve had a number of very promising horses who have been sold to Hong Kong. Christine has continued to show jump and has been very successful on their home bred Varekai SL plus many others who have been sold around NZ and overseas. They are now also moving on to the next generation with the grand children riding.

Equilibrium supplements feature heavily in Seattle Lodge’s daily routine. Being broad spectrum and universal, Equilibrium covers all the horses, the proof is in the pudding, they deliver results. Both our racehorses and show jumpers have had a tremendous 12 months, winning multiple races and Show Jumping classes throughout the country. Even the younger members of the team have been successful at ribbon days on much loved ponies who benefit greatly from Equilibrium.

Another aspect of the business is the rehab of thoroughbreds, all of whom are supplemented with Equilibrium B1 Cool Mix or Mineral Mix, the comments made when they return to their owners are always very positive. We are consistently asked what we use, as our horses always look outstanding. We love Equilibrium because it’s safe, effective and easy to use. The horse’s coats are darker, healthier and shinier, we know what is going in and we can see the results.

“WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND FEEDING THIS PRODUCT TO ALL EQUINES NO MATTER WHAT DISCIPLINE YOU COMPETE IN.”

– NICKI GLENN (LARNLEIGH STUD)

LOU & ALAINA TATE

Lou Tait has many years’ experience with horses, from gallopers to trotters, show and dressage horses, breeding top competition horses to yearling preparation and she is also a qualified grade 2 RAS Equestrian judge.

Lou campaigned her homebred mare Southwell Rendevouz (Mouse) in partnership with Rebecca McKee to the highest level in showing, performing with distinction to win countless Supreme Champions, Horse of the Year titles and Runner up large Saddle Hunter at the EA Nationals in Australia in 2014. Mouse also competed successfully with Rebecca up to level five dressage. Southwell Razamatazz, bred and competed by Lou as a youngster before being sold is currently competing in his first year at level one dressage and he too is consistently in the winner’s circle.

Lou wanted to pursue her five-year-old daughter Alaina’s passion for riding and showing ponies, so the difficult decision was made to sell Mouse. With Lou’s direction changing to teaching Alaina how to ride and compete, the horses have now ‘shrunk’ to ponies. They currently have two ponies in the team, Gundagai Leikellie and Maxwellton Betty Boop. Lou and Alaina are enjoying their first season in Lead Rein where Alaina is loving riding and has been collecting ribbons at every show.

Lou has fed Equilibrium B1 Cool Mix to all her horses for many years finding it a fantastic vitamin and mineral supplement for gleaming, shiny coats and general health. The horses always seem to have a spring in their step without getting too fizzy at the same time while on Equilibrium supplements.

ADAM & MICHELLE

Adam and Michelle Wilton own and operate Adelle Stud situated in Glendonbrook, NSW. The stud has been operating for approximately 15 years, focusing on breeding and competing quality Australian Stock Horses.

Adelle stud is relatively small, with three broodmares usually only breeding two foals per year. However, being a boutique stud producing quality horses has meant that over the years both Adam and Michelle have been very successful in the show ring at the highest level, with accolades including multiple champion and supreme awards at Royal and National level, as well as being recipients of the very highly regarded ASH Prince of Wales Trophy.

Show seasons are very busy with the team consisting of around six horses, ranging from yearlings through to open horses. Michelle and Adam also compete numerous client’s horses throughout the year. Over the years the stud has evolved into a very successful breaking and training business, catering for an average of six outside horses per week of all breeds and disciplines.

The Adelle show team along with the breeding stock are all prepped on Equilibrium B1 Cool Mix and the results speak for themselves, we absolutely love the product and highly recommend it to all of our clients.

YOHANNA COOK

I have been involved with ponies for as long as I can remember, starting as a rider, however when EI arrived our ponies were all affected, and we just did not get back to riding. I still wanted to have horses so started with Miniature Horses, competing in halter and performance. The larger of the miniatures I then started carriage driving, going on to breaking in my own ponies and then progressing to Shetlands, Welsh A ponies and American Shetland Derivatives.

I compete at State and club level in harness and campaign our up and coming ponies in halter and harness at local Agricultural Shows.

Horses are my passion, and I enjoy competing with horses I have trained, hopefully getting results for our efforts. Currently we own nine ponies and compete with five, with one at elite level in harness. As much as I love to compete, the health and wellbeing of the ponies always comes first, as there is always another show.

We’ve been feeding Equilibrium supplements for the past two years. We started with the B1 Cool Mix for a mare who was nervy and unsettled and found it made a great difference, so started all the ponies on Equilibrium. We’ve found some ponies better on the Mineral Mix and some on the B1 Cool Mix. Equilibrium supplements we’ve found to improve general wellbeing and temperament, showing particularly in improved skin, hoof and coat condition, with dapples on most of our ponies. We’ve even found that those ponies with skin problems have improved whilst being fed Equilibrium.

“YOU ONLY HAVE TO SEE HOW WELL THE HORSES LOOK, AND THE RESULTS WE’VE BEEN HAVING TO KNOW IT REALLY IS HELPING THEM KEEP ON TOP OF THEIR FORM.”

KELARAY STUD

Kelaray Stud International is owned and operated by Kelly Mason & Ray Milich in Kaitaia, New Zealand.

We established the stud in 2003 breeding Purebred Arabians and Arabian Derivatives. We have a very select group of mares, and all have been chosen not only for their own show ring success, but also the progeny that they have produced for us over the years.

Kelaray Stud has consistently been known as a breeder and producer of top show horses in New Zealand, not only for our own horses but also for the limited client’s horses we produce as well.

The young horses we have bred have been exported to Australia, China and Sweden.

Over the years we have produced multi Supreme Champion Arabian Warmbloods, Anglo Arabians and Purebred Arabians. We have been using Equilibrium on all our horses with huge success, these have shown in our show ring results over the years.

Our Broodmares have been in the best condition we have ever had them in, with the help of Equilibrium.

Being an all in one supplement as well as containing salts, makes our job at feeding time that much easier. No need for multiple containers of various products.

We regularly have Tourists stopping by our farm to take photos of the broodmares and foals who are always gleaming in the paddocks.

We feel very honoured to be sponsored by Equilibrium and be a part of such a successful product.

KIM & SIMON

Simon and I have now been using Equilibrium Mineral Mix for over 15 years with our Australian Stock Horses and any breed that has crossed our training yard. We show and campdraft so good nutrition is paramount to any performance. Good nutrition beams out of our horses with exceptional colour and coat quality, terrific hoof texture and soundness. We feed it to everything from broodmares, stallions and riding horses. Equilibrium seems to cover, and balance minerals needed for them no matter if the season is lush or we are in a drought with zero pasture.

We come from a background of pony club as kids, polocrosse, the racing industry, showing in the hack ring and ASH ring and campdrafting. Mind you we love a good bush ride too. We have competed and won up to National level and I have been an accredited riding coach forever. Encouraging junior riders is important to us both and we try to help where we can. Not forgetting the many adult riders who have been on our arena over the years. Currentl,y we have just made a massive move back to NSW to work in the thoroughbred industry and live on Corumbene Stud. I’m the assistant manager and Simon is our transport driver /stud hand. Brood mares, foals, weanlings, yearlings and of course the team of horses the boss breeds and races himself. We will get back out and about soon as we have three 2yo ASH around us but for now, our work with the thoroughbreds is our priority. Giddy up.

ALLY CARSON

I’m Ally Carson, 18 years old. I’m a showjumper from Putaruru in South Waikato in New Zealand. I have a team of 4 competing horses and 1 retired pony.

I had a successful campaign on ponies, winning the three biggest pony titles in New Zealand on Tony The Pony, they were National Pony Grand Prix Champion 2016, Winner of Pony Of The Year 2016 and 2015/2016 Pony Grand Prix series winner. I’m currently jumping up to Young Rider/ 1.40 level. My Team are Letano (Rocky) an 8-year-old gelding, he is jumping in young riders up to 1.40. Mt Robinson’s Statement (Sam) an 8-year-old gelding, he is also jumping Young riders up to 1.40. Whiorau Ritchie (Ritchie) 9-year-old gelding, he is jumping in Junior Rider/1.30. Sir Gandolf (Gandolf) 15 yr old gelding. He’s my fun speed horse that jumps the lower heights. My retired pony that was known with the show name of Prince Ransome he is an energetic pony and enjoys his Equilibrium every day.

I feed Equilibrium to my whole team, I love that it is such a quick easy-to-use supplement with all the essential vitamins and minerals, it covers a wide range of horses because of the two different types the B1 Cool mix (blue) and the Mineral mix (yellow). It covers the whole team from the laid-back ones to the hotter ones. All the horses look so nice and shiny, the healthiness starts from within. Drew (my sister) and I are so thankful to have Equilibrium part of Team Carson.
